I viewed a conference called Embracing Web 2.0 For the Administrator The conference was done by a principal in New Hampshire and he highlighted all of the web 2.0 tools Chanisse is trying to make us more COMFORTABLE with! He spoke of the importance of the 2.0 tools to our students and our ability to instruct in the use of them. I still feel overwhelmed at times with all the new technology and things we are learning. Mr. Carozza stressed the importance of learning what is out there, as our staff is doing and then choose one Web 2.0 tool to use at first. Give yourself time to feel comfortable with it, then try a second tool or continue to master one. It is better to attempt at least one tool than none at all! This is very worthwhile, thank you Chanisse for STRETCHING us all! Get out of that comfort zone-be a life long learner-feel empowered, we can do it! Now on to choose which tool I will master!

You are more than welcome! I’m having a great time sharing my passion for technology with my peers. I get such a kick out of the numerous “Ah Ha Moments” and folks who are trying something new. I compare the enormity of web 2.0 to an elephant. We’ve got to eat this elephant one bite at a time.
